Today we’d like to introduce you to Sheila Craig.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Sheila. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started creating SheShe CoCo mixtures of various nut oils, herbs and spices in 2013 on my healthy lifestyle journey because that year went for my yearly check-up and my doctor stated that my A1C level was bordering 5-6 which is basically per-diabetic. From that time forward my lifestyle change. Real long story short, I had to change every part of my life, exercise, food, water, skincare products, mind, body and soul. And I am continuously on that journey.
As you grow into your healthy self you start paying attention to the things you didn’t see before. I started reading product labels of the stuff I used in my home and with my family. The ingredients were not looking or sounding so well. I had to research the ingredients. Most were very unhealthy. So I decided to try mixing things up myself. Something like a mad scientist. Lots of YouTube videos and reading I must say. After lots of trial and error, wallah magic started to happen. My family and friends were my test petals for all of my creations. They still are but they don’t mind cause every product I create comes from plants! In a small nutshell SheShe CoCo story.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. There are so many issues, problems, growth spruts and other things that sometimes can not be explained. You just do what you have to do. Periodt. There has been employee stuff, social media headaches, vending craze, trade show fun and mess. Body aches, headaches, fun times, good time. All the times in one day sometimes. I have learned and still learning that I can’t do everything in my business myself therefore I am learning to delegate. Having a team is key to success.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have learned botany, gardening, and how to live a holistic lifestyle in my much younger years.
