She’Kia, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am a YouTube Influencer turned Realtor/Owner of She’kia Renea Realty in Atlanta Georgia. Born and Raised native of West Helena, Arkansas, I am most known for my southern charm and hospitality. Over the years, I have singlehandedly marketed my YouTube channel to reach well over 15 million channel views worldwide and over 283,000 subscribers. It is safe to say, I am a master at creative marketing. I have worked on marketing campaigns with top brands in the beauty industry such as Covergirl, Urban Decay, Bobbi Boss, Fashion Nova, BoxyCharm, and more. I have been featured in countless magazines, online interviews, television, and more. In June of 2019, I was recognized as one of YouTube’s “Top 100 Content Creators”. In addition to my YouTube subscribers, I have a strong presence on Instagram with over 27,000 followers.
By harnessing the power of the world wide web, Google, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, I create a huge advantage for my clients utilizing today’s technology for marketing to bring my client’s real estate experiences into the 22nd Century! Lastly, I’d like to add the fact that my company is housed under the #1 Brokerage in Georiga Keller Williams First Atlanta.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly, it has been a great transition for me. Having such a large social media presence, gave me a real advantage. Thus far, all of my clients were generated entirely from social media. The only struggle I’ve had is since becoming a Realtor, I have been booked and busy– I get very little leisure time. lol
We’d love to hear more about your work.
My specialty is Listings! I love working with Sellers. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am Great with Buyers as well, however, I love listings. On average, I have been able to get clients Under Contract and homes SOLD within 30 Days or less. Which is why I labeled myself as “YouTuber/The Listing Guru.” I believe my social media expertise sets me apart from other Realtors. Why? Because I Generate Traffic! The #1 way Buyers find homes is through internet searches. It is also a known fact most Sellers are not able to generate enough traffic to their homes when attempting to sell on their own. Wouldn’t it be GREAT to have an agent with over 312K social media followers and over 15 million viewers?
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career thus far has been getting clients who never dreamed of owning a home, CLOSED! The smiles on their faces let me know I’ve done my job.
