Meet Sherri Gordon of Dallas, GA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sherri Gordon.

Sherri Gordon

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My Story

My journey as a coach began in 2017 when I became an ICF-Certified Professional Coach. From the very beginning, I knew my calling was relationships—helping people deepen the bonds with those they love and strengthening the connections between leaders and the people they lead. Relationships are the thread that holds our lives, our work, and our communities together, and I felt led to create spaces where those bonds could be nurtured, challenged, and transformed.

Over the years, I’ve hosted and developed a variety of workshops, meetups, and empowerment sessions designed to meet people where they are:
• Wife Chat, where wives come together to be empowered, supported, and encouraged to show up as their best selves in marriage.
• Sisterhood Connect, a multigenerational space for women to build community, bond, and truly belong.
• The Millennial RelationShift, where young adults gather to be honest about the shifts they need to make—personally, relationally, and professionally.
• The Relationship Reality Check, my ongoing social media series that brings quick, real, and relevant insights for navigating the highs and lows of human connection.
• Meeting of the Moms with Cobb County, an empowerment group that gives mothers a place to connect, receive support, share resources, and prioritize their own self-care.
• And my Leadership Lift Zoom group, where I pour into a small circle of leaders to help them stay encouraged, equipped, and sharp in their leadership journey.

Each of these spaces was created with one purpose in mind: to empower people—women, men, couples, leaders, and families—to build stronger, healthier, and more intentional relationships.

Recently, I was honored to receive the Community Service Award at the 2025 Honors and Blessings Gala, presented by Visions of Life Empowering Growth & Building Changes, a nonprofit organization. This recognition affirmed the heart of the work I do and the impact these relationship-based spaces are having in the community.

I am still growing, still learning, and still committed to creating environments where people can shift, thrive, and experience relationships that elevate every area of their lives.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My coaching journey didn’t start with a grand plan—it started with a small role, a simple desire to help people build better relationships, and a willingness to serve wherever I was needed. Over time, that small beginning grew into a true calling.

What started small has grown into a coaching venture centered on empowering women, leaders, couples, and families to build healthier relationships and stronger communities.

My journey is still unfolding, but one thing remains constant: my passion for helping people connect, communicate, and create relationships that truly elevate their lives.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
About My Work

I am Coach Sherri G., the Relationship and Leadership Coach, and I’m widely known as the Authentic Authority Walker. My work centers on helping people walk in their truth, lead with confidence, and build relationships that elevate every area of their lives.

I specialize in two core areas:

1. Relationship Coaching

I help individuals, couples, and communities strengthen the bonds that matter most. My coaching and workshops focus on real conversations, emotional intelligence, communication, intimacy, and the everyday work it takes to build healthy, lasting relationships. From wives to millennials to mothers and sisterhood circles—I create safe, empowering spaces for people to grow.

2. Leadership Coaching

I guide leaders in discovering and refining their authentic leadership style. I help them build influence, communicate with clarity, and lead with empathy. Through my Leadership Lift sessions and ongoing coaching, I support leaders who want to grow not just in skill, but in character.

What I’m Known For

I’m known for creating transformational spaces—virtual and in-person—where people can be honest, vulnerable, and empowered. My signature spaces include:
• Wife Chat
• Sisterhood Connect
• Millennial RelationShift
• Leadership Lift
• Meeting of the Moms – Cobb County Empowerment Group
• Relationship Reality Check weekly insights

These programs are built on truth, transparency, and practical wisdom.

What I’m Most Proud Of

I am most proud of the impact these spaces have had on individuals, families, and communities. Seeing women heal, leaders grow, couples reconnect, and young adults step into purpose is the greatest reward. Receiving the 2025 Community Service Award at the Honors & Blessings Gala was a beautiful confirmation of that impact.

What Sets Me Apart

What sets me apart is authenticity—I don’t teach theory; I walk what I talk. I’m committed to real transformation, not surface-level motivation. I meet people where they are, speak truth with love, and empower them to take the next right step.

My coaching isn’t just a profession—it’s a calling. I am the Authentic Authority Walker because I teach people how to walk in who they truly are, with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned on my journey is this: real growth begins when you give yourself permission to be authentic.

Whether in relationships or leadership, people thrive when they stop performing and start showing up as who they truly are. I’ve learned that authenticity creates connection, honesty builds trust, and transparency opens the door for transformation.

I’ve also learned that impact doesn’t require perfection—just consistency, courage, and a willing heart. Every workshop, every coaching session, every space I’ve created has taught me that people don’t need someone who has all the answers; they need someone who is real, present, and committed to walking with them.

And finally, I’ve learned that small steps matter. What starts as a small role, a small room, or a small idea can grow into something far greater than you imagined when you remain faithful to the work.

Authenticity, consistency, and courage—those have been the greatest lessons of my journey.
