Today we’d like to introduce you to Shonn Brown.
Shonn, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Since the age of four, I’ve always told everyone I met that I would become a Famous Musician. Growing up, I kept this dream and added to it but as I grew in life so did my challenges. I have witnessed numerous amounts of testimonies giving to me to help heal and spread love through creativity. If I am able to get just a few people to see we are all one in the same, then maybe the world will see one day.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The biggest part of my struggle that I experienced has come from my childhood. Most of my traumatic memories I find myself blocking them out so I don’t remember them anymore. The second part of the struggle was myself as a whole learning to perfect manifestation. It is a tricky road in losing friends and live ones all while staying humble and doing the right thing. Self-love is a big must.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
Starting off, I only looked at myself as a musician but through time, I started to notice I was capable of much more. Wanting to shoot my own music videos is what got me into Photography and Videography. The name of my company is WHOOSHOTU?
I specialize in creating scenery in a bland environment. I am know for my editing work for many Atlanta artists. Helping them create enjoyable visuals for the audience to enjoy. I am most proud of the growth of my company with not just equipment but awareness expansion. I hope to soon touch everyone with my work. What really sets me apart from everyone else is that I am self-educated. Meaning the knowledge I have obtained to create visuals, edit, photoshop, produce and also engineer are all things I’ve learned on my own.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I am planning to expand my company’s audience so that many more people will be touched by my movement. This year I am taking risks. I will be writing a song for a professional Mia fighter by the name of Walter McCord.
