Thanks for sharing your story with us Sooony. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Well, I started rapping when I was 11. I grew up listening and watching my uncle rap, that’s how I got into music. I didn’t start taking it seriously until three years ago when we created our company known as “rachilyfe,” we’ve been grinding hard all three years and here we are!!!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road by far there has definitely been challenging obstacles. Where do I start, well, investing was definitely one of them, I was investing out of my pocket at a fast rate, expecting fast results, had to learn it doesn’t work like that, you have to be patient, trust the process. Let’s see another one would be knowing what to invest in because you can invest a lot in the wrong places and that’s a pain because you could have put toward something else. Also, staying trending because this game moves very fast. Another thing is getting everybody tuned in to your movement because nowadays people’s attention span is very short.
Rachilyfe – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Rachilyfe is a distribution company/label. I am a shareholder and an artist of the company. I specialize in making real good music and investing and known for going hard for my team and staying lit even when everybody gets a little down. I’m most proud of our company for hanging in there because we started with nothing but faith and sometimes, that can be hard if you’re not seeing results right away, you feel me, I’m also proud of our growth in numbers on everything and our networking and our ability to get back up when things knocked us down. What sets me apart from others is when I get locked in on something, I do it to the fullest, people tell me my energy is everything, that’s another thing that sets me apart. Also, the love I have and show to people I deal with is very genuine if we’re together, I’m going to ride with you all the time. Last but not least, the ladies say I’m more handsome than most, lol!!!!
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success as being better than you were the last time even if you’re only going up little by little, it’s still progress and to me, that’s a success. I’m looking for us to be a multi-millionaire by next year.
