Today we’d like to introduce you to Star Dior.

Hi Star, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Jasmine S. Rogers | A Curated Life of Purpose, Passion, and Excellence
Born and raised in vibrant Miami, I’ve always possessed a forward-thinking mindset and an innate drive to build something greater. That ambition led me to Atlanta—a city that would become the catalyst for both my personal transformation and professional elevation. My love for culinary arts, though always present, truly came to life during a season of reinvention. What began as a shared passion evolved into my own calling. Embracing my talent in the kitchen, I stepped confidently into the culinary world and never looked back. Today, I’m the proud founder and CEO of Cooking With Star LLC—a luxury private chef and event brand known for curating elevated dining experiences, intimate gatherings, and unforgettable flavors with signature style. But my creativity extends beyond the plate. I’m also the visionary behind Savage Interior and Savage Installments, where I bring elegant interiors to life with thoughtful design. I’ve been immersed in music since my youth—writing, traveling, and performing. And as a full-spectrum entrepreneur, I assist clients with business credit, taxes, and turning concepts into real, thriving brands. Every venture I’ve pursued reflects my commitment to quality, intentionality, and excellence. As a devoted mother, creative, and faith-driven woman, I believe in leading with purpose and showing others that reinvention is possible at any stage. My journey is a testament to resilience, but more importantly, to vision. I didn’t just rise—I was called to elevate.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey hasn’t always been smooth, but it’s been powerfully purposeful. I’ve experienced seasons of isolation, endured moments of being surrounded by people who didn’t support my vision, and faced personal battles—including surviving domestic abuse. But through it all, I never stopped believing in myself.
There were times when no one else saw the vision—but I did. And more importantly, God did. That belief, paired with patience, faith, and a willingness to keep showing up for myself, became the foundation of my success. I learned that elevation often comes after making a decision—choosing to bet on yourself, to pursue purpose even when the path isn’t paved. And once that choice is made, what follows is alignment, strength, and the kind of growth that can’t be stopped. I am proof that it’s not about having the perfect support system or the smoothest road—it’s about being committed to your calling, even when it’s uncomfortable. The bumps along the way didn’t break me; they built me.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m Jasmine S. Rogers—an Atlanta-based business professional, private chef, author, creative entrepreneur, and the visionary behind multiple growing brands. As the founder of Cooking With Star LLC, I specialize in curating luxury culinary experiences for private clients, real estate professionals, and upscale communities. From intimate dinners and elevated brunches to full-service catering and culinary events, I’m known for transforming meals into unforgettable moments.
Beyond the kitchen, I am the founder of Savage Interior and Savage Installments—offering bespoke interior styling and luxury home decor solutions designed to bring elegance and intentionality into every space. As a full-time entrepreneur, I also serve in several professional spaces. I’m a Turo host, managing a premium vehicle rental service. I work with small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to help them build business credit, secure funding, and structure their businesses for long-term success. I also provide tax preparation services—bringing transparency, strategy, and value to personal and business finances.
What I’m Most Proud Of
I’m most proud of building a multifaceted brand that reflects purpose, passion, and resilience. From launching a cookbook and cookware line to helping others fund and scale their own ventures, everything I create is rooted in authenticity, quality, and faith. I’m not just a chef or businesswoman—I’m a builder of experiences, solutions, and legacies.
What Sets Me Apart
What sets me apart is the ability to fuse creativity with professionalism. I don’t just offer services—I offer strategy, style, and results. Whether I’m preparing a five-star meal, designing an elegant space, guiding someone through credit development, or helping them secure funding, I approach every endeavor with a holistic mindset and a standard of excellence.
My brand is built on integrity, intention, and impact. Clients and partners choose me because they don’t just see what I do—they feel the difference in how I do it.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
To me, risk is a necessary ingredient in growth. It’s not just about making bold moves—it’s about making intentional decisions, even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed. I believe that if you’re serious about building something meaningful, at some point, you have to bet on yourself. One of the biggest risks I ever took was leaving my comfort zone and relocating from Miami to Atlanta. I didn’t have a full plan—I had a vision, faith, and a willingness to grow. I knew I was walking away from familiarity and stepping into the unknown, but that leap completely changed my life and expanded my career in ways I couldn’t have imagined. Another major risk was launching my culinary business after leaving a relationship where I wasn’t encouraged to use my talents. Instead of staying small, I chose to own my gift—and that decision was pivotal. I went all in: branding myself, investing in events, creating services, and putting myself out there publicly as a private chef, author, and businesswoman. And of course, becoming a full-time entrepreneur—venturing into multiple businesses from Cooking With Star to Savage Interior, to offering services in business credit, taxes, and Turo—has been a series of calculated risks. Every new service or venture I launch means putting my name, time, and resources on the line. But I’ve learned that faith and risk often go hand in hand. I don’t see risk as something to fear. I see it as something to respect. It pushes you to prepare, to pray, to stay sharp, and to get clear about what you really want. I’d rather take the chance on my vision than live wondering what if.
