Meet Stephan Stewart and Shannon Sullins of In Good Spirits Events in East Atlanta/Southeast

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephan Stewart and Shannon Sullins.

Stephan and Shannon, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
There are bars, then there are mobiles bars. Ours is the latter. Not too many years back, we volunteered to tend bar at a music festival (a great way to see your favorite performers!). Lucky for us, we found ourselves in a hip little camper, serving drinks to the masses,

After the event, on the drive home, we talked more about the camper than the bands. The next morning, we agreed that a camper bar was a necessary addition to the In Good Spirits portfolio.

Fast forward two years, two campers, and a mobile wooden bar named “Woody”, and In Good Spirits Events has blossomed from an event planner with bartenders, into a gypsy train of mid-century camper bars and photo booths.

Has it been a smooth road?
One of the most challenging hurdles to overcome has been the build-out of the campers. When you dig into a 50-year-old camper, you unveil a lot of years of abuse and neglect. First Clyde, then Bonnie, each required a complete rebuild, from the bottom up. That was not just all-consuming, but a massive undertaking as a pair. Yes, just to make it more entertaining, try doing it as a couple!

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We provide a variety of services including event planning, mobile bars, and photo campers, and general good-times, for weddings, corporate events, and parties of all sorts. In the last year, mobile bars have been popping up throughout the South East. Though few integrate mid-century decor, and none yet can show up to the party with both Bonnie and Clyde both, a match made in heaven

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I moved to Roswell when I was 10 years old. I grew up in Sandy Springs and spent years in OFW. Shannon has been in Georgia for 20 years. Together we bring the influences of one of the most diverse, flavorful, and classic in the nation to ever event and occasion.
