Meet Stephanie Purcell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Purcell.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
A freelance producer by day working in film, TV and international sports; I started doing interior design as a fun, artistic side venture while pairing with my husband’s real estate investment business. This gave me the perfect opportunity to practice my design skills and experiment with style. I made some swoon-worthy design mistakes along the way, but since then I have learned A LOT. I became a certified designer, produced DIY videos for Home Depot and have been seen in Realtor.com, Apartment Therapy, Martha Stewart, Bob Vila and more!

I like color, a good retro thrift-store find and am a sucker for collecting vacation souvenirs. I describe my unique design style as eclectic, travel-inspired, often vintage, and color-inclusive; and I want to help you discover your unique design style! You also shouldn’t have to break the bank to do so. With my online design services, I am able to offer you custom curations at a fraction of the cost!

You deserve a home you love!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Learning my own style, how I wanted to run my business and of course, making some design mistakes along the way, have all been a part of the process. But I have loved every minute of it and have learned a lot along the way!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in convenient, online interior design that is affordable and accessible to all – so you can start to fall in love with your home and live in a space you enjoy. Interior design shouldn’t be only for the elite.

Discovering your unique design style can be a process, but you don’t have to go it alone. As a designer, my job/joy is to help you discover it and have some fun along the way.

I thought that the only way my home was going to look HGTV-worthy was with a lot of demolition. The truth is – you can create a beautiful home with the space you have. – Not convinced? Let me prove it to you!

When working with a skilled designer your style AND budget should be taken into account. Design mistakes can be costly. When you think about it that way, you really can’t afford not to have some help.

Let’s create rooms you love!

How do you think about luck?
I think luck is really a product of hard work and being ready when opportunity presents itself. I knew I wanted/needed some training so I enrolled in design school, when I graduated I needed practice and clients so I worked with an existing online design company for ears, then when I felt ready, I ventured out on my own and started my own business. I know have the expertise and confidence that allows me to attract new clients of my own.
