This is actually a story of another man’s vision, Bishop Dale Bronner. The Riverside EpiCenter started as a family-friendly place for youth in the community. It took over 10 years of vision to build EpiCenter in 2013 and was the largest construction in Cobb County for that year.
Riverside EpiCenter grew and developed into a full-scale multi-purpose venue that supports the diversity of our community with excellence.
Enclosed in almost 113,000 sq. ft. are a host of options from Corporate- Performing Arts Center, Conference Center and Team Building, Fitness- EpiFitness Club with Sports Hall and Rock Climbing Wall to Entertainment- Bowling, Arcade and Recording Studio. In addition, we host a variety of social events from Weddings to Quinceañeras.
This was an outpouring of support from Word of Faith members and the community to make Riverside EpiCenter a reality.
Bishop Bronner brought his vision to assist with the management of this diverse group of activities.
Has it been a smooth road?
Nothing great grows without a struggle. The strongest companies are ones that grow from challenges.
We were built with passion and as a seed for the development of the community that needs a vision of excellence. Our challenges are to balance corporate and social events with community needs.
As a unique venue, we are constantly looking at how to market and to whom. We provide class A amenities with great pricing but the challenge is to get our voice out in an ever-crowded Atlanta market.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Riverside EpiCenter story. Tell us more about the business.
We have a host of businesses under one roof.
As a Silver LEED certified building, we strive to provide green innovations from Electric car charging, green cleaning, recycling and community awareness. We offer a host of activities from our Conference side which offers state of the art Performing Arts Center, Grand Ballroom, Recording Studio, Corporate Team Building and Social Events.
Our Wellness side offers EpiFitness Club with no contract, whirlpool, sauna and steam rooms in both Locker areas along with EpiFuel, our amazing Smoothie Bar. In addition, we are the training center for the Atlanta Dream WNBA team. We are in the process of also providing a partnership with US Wellcare for an onsite clinic.
Entertainment is provided with a Brunswick certified Bowling Center, Arcade, and Rock Climbing wall.
In addition, we have a Subway, Pizza and frozen yogurt store onsite. All these are provided in a safe and family-oriented environment with free Wi-Fi and open 7 days a week with complimentary parking.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
We host a variety of industries at the Riverside EpiCenter. In the past, customer service has been used as the defining difference between you and everyone else. Our focus is to move this trend to the reality of “Customer Care”. This takes customer service to the next level by focusing on the needs and wants in a warm and welcoming manner to both our guests and employees.
