Today we’d like to introduce you to Stokely Weinberg.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Stokely. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
Growing up, I developed an entrepreneurial spirit from a very young age with a range of different businesses that I was involved with. After college, I decided to move to Atlanta to take a sales job at a Fortune 100 company in Atlanta.
While it was an amazing opportunity for a kid who had just graduated college, I quickly discovered that my energy and enthusiasm for work quickly began to fade when faced with the realities of Corporate America.
My co-worker Bryan Eastman also had an entrepreneurial spirit and had become involved in the hot real estate and construction market in the early 2000’s. We decided to leave Corporate America for good together in 2004 and ever since then have focused full time on luxury new construction in Atlanta.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Any small business owner knows that there are always going to be bumps along the way to success. The biggest struggle that I can remember was back in 2008 during the real estate downturn when the majority of other builders went out of business.
It was a challenging few years where we were extra careful with what deals we became involved with. The positive was that it forced us to be even better with our processes and gave us a leg up on the competition that were still sitting on the sidelines when the economy recovered.
For me, the biggest blessing has been to have a business partner who I trust 100% and who compliments my strengths/weaknesses very well.
I don’t envy the entrepreneurs who have to go at it all by themselves. It has been great to have someone to celebrate the successes with as well as share the everyday stresses of being a small business owner!

Stokesman Luxury Homes is a boutique custom home builder that specializes in luxury residential new construction in Buckhead. We choose just a handful of projects a year to ensure that we can focus on even the smallest detail of every home.
This gives our clients the peace of mind to know that they are getting the very best custom home building experience possible. We’re most proud of the relationships that we forge with each family that we build for.
It’s an incredible feeling to see the joy on their faces as we hand over the keys to them upon completion. It makes all the time and energy that we put into each project worthwhile.
What has been the proudest moment of your career so far?
My proudest moment would be the work that our company does for our community. As a certified pilot, Bryan dedicates a large amount of time each year to Angel Flight which provides free air transportation to our citizens who have medical needs that can’t be filled in their local area.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to coach and mentor at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta for the last 12 years. Although working with 9-12-year-olds is at times challenging, the reward of making a difference for our underprivileged youth is very satisfying.
