Meet Summer McIntyre

Today we’d like to introduce you to Summer McIntyre.

Hi Summer, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Throughout my life, I always believed in the art of manifestation. I always believed if I worked hard enough, I could achieve anything I set my mind too. Throughout my life, I’ve been through so much from people who said they were my friends hurt me, lots of good opportunities being stopped due to Covid. What I have noticed is that everything I’ve been through were life lessons for me to take notes on. I used everything I’ve been through to make me change into the person I am today. I actually thank everything that happened to me in my past because now I’ve moved up at my job, I’m going be a junior next August, and I’m doing my own thing. What I want to do in the future is change people’s lives for the better with my quotes and inspire them to do good. I really am in school so I can become a counselor so I can help people in there future.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I really struggled on letting people go even if I knew you were bad. I always tried to see the best in people. Now I’m in a point in my life where I need to focus on putting myself first so I decided to let people go who weren’t motivating me to be better. I’ve also had situations where friends who I really held down didn’t do the same for me and hurt me and that really got me. I looked at that those experiences and I used it to work harder than ever.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Well, for starters, I love to cook. I know how to cook many different things and I have a cooking page header on my Instagram. I also like motivating people to do better and help them succeed in life.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
The little support of telling you that your proud of me means a lot to me. It’s the little things that make me smile. If you want some good advice, a lot of people come to me for some. Since were talking about support, I have a really good support system in my family and my close circle of friends, So I do thank them for that.
