Plastikos was founded in 1995 to help patients that were not able to find help within conventional medicine and surgery. Patients ill from defective breast implants with chemical and or biotoxicity, teneosyovitis from chemical toxicity, patients with severe facial and hand injuries and burns that needed complex medical and surgical treatment came to our center for treatment that included plastic surgery, integrative holistic medicine, homeopathy, and detoxification. Millennium Healthcare was added in 1998 to help patients with medical problems such as fibromyalgia, intracellular infections, and immune disorders with integrative holistic medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Avatar Cancer Center added in 1999 to help patients with cancer and other life threatening diseases not well understood by traditional medicine.
Plastikos is now treating patients from all over the world with cutting edge technologies and integrative holistic and functional medicine and surgery. We specialize in determining and treating the cause of disease and injury which is often not investigated in traditional medicine.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We now have many more patients than we can see with our current staff. We are in the process of expanding and training other medical doctors, surgeons, and PA’s to deal with this demand. We have added a nonprofit Angel Explant to help patients who have financial problems due to insurance companies refusing to pay for complications of cosmetic surgery. We hope to present the case to insurance companies that they will save a great deal of money if they cover the explantation surgery, rather than pay for the disease management of the diseases associated with defective breast implants.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Plastikos Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery story. Tell us more about the business.
We provide a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures including facial (facelifts, eyelid surgery, brow lifts, nose surgery both cosmetic and reconstructive and fillers and nerve agents such as Botox and Dysport), breast (augmentation, breast lifts, reductions, and reconstruction), trunk (tummy tuck, liposuction, fat injections to face and breast, buttock augmentation), labiaplasty and other female cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, and hand surgery.
We are known internationally for breast explantation, breast mastopexy for the deformity caused by explantation, and fat injections later to also help restore the breast after explantation. This is because we treat the disease caused by defective breast implants, including antifungals for yeast and mold, immune and endocrine support, detoxification of silicone, chemicals, and biotoxins, and treatment of coinfections including viruses, parasites, and intracellular infections which are common in patients with immune deficits.
