Today we’d like to introduce you to Suzanne Szabo.
Suzanne, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My family has been in the hair business for over 60 years in Pittsburg, so you could say that I have been in the business my entire life! I relocated to Atlanta and have been a stylist here for the last 25 years. I have had the opportunity to work in several great places, among some of the industry’s best. Opening Santé has been exciting because it has allowed me to bring my vision of the salon world to life and serve our guests in our great space.
Has it been a smooth road?
I believe that all roads have some bumps; that’s how we learn. My biggest takeaway is that I have created most of the obstacles in my path. Understanding that and how to navigate through them has been a vital part of the learning experience.
Please tell us about your business.
At Santé we believe it’s more than just a haircut, it’s about feeling great when you leave the salon. We serve a diverse client base with all hair types, and we take the time to give each guest the individual attention they need while enhancing their natural beauty. We specialize in balayage, highlight retouches, and cuts, and are also known to work some magic for formal hair (think weddings and proms) to help you look your best for your special day. I’m most proud of our team here at Santé and their genuine care for our guests- it’s what sets us apart from the rest.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What’s not to love about Atlanta? It is an incredibly diverse city, full of great people, great food, and great experiences. And of course, there’s the weather. As a former Pittsburgh native, the winter’s here has always been a welcomed change from those up North.
