Meet Sylvia Faircloth of Northern VA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sylvia Faircloth.

Hi Sylvia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My Story is one of triumph, overcoming, and again all odds.I previously resided in Atl.arra, but I have moved to Northern VA.
Through all my heart ache and pain,I had to find away to turn Pain into Purpose.I knee I always had a heart for encouraging people and helping them if I could.I would birth Basketcase Ministry.I am always adding to this Ministry.
Out of this Ministry I started B.I.L.L.After losing a spouse which I knew for a long time.I created Bereavement is Lost Love..I knew the hurt was real, the pain was real.I had sleepless nights, crying uncontrollably. My mind was all over the place.I would spend hours on the phone with a grief counselor.
It took me a year and my grief birthed this group got grieving widows, single mothers.I am thankful for this entity birthed out of Basketcase Ministry.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Yes it has been very smooth for me.I also birthed $weet Hour Of Prayer “, which meets via phone every Thursday evening at 7 pm EST.The number is 978-999-9606
We get our praise on,we testify and we pray and take Prayer requests. Many are enjoying the fruits of Basketcase Ministry which was birthed while in Atlanta,Ga.
My heart is for the forgotten, rejected, lost.I feel I was there and needed somewhere I could get a word,a prayer, but there wasn’t for me.
People do care about people who are just left alone.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I love being creative.I love writing poems for all occasions.I love using my creative abily to be a blessing to others.I love designing Prayer Journals.

I Pray for different Organizations.I am the Prayer Director for Konnect Ministry, which is a recovery home ran by Mr.Brain Freeman and Donya Jenkins.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
My most important lesson I’ve learned is to Do unto others as you would have done to you. It’s so important to love people. It is so important to forgive. When we love others we will not only think of ourselves,we will try to help others.I pay it forward.During my darkest hour,I had help,I had hope.Thid journey hasn’t been a cake walk, but I always had Faith to believe I could be better,do better and help others along the way.
