Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanesha Boldin.
Hi Tanesha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I relocated to Alpharetta from the DC-MD area in 2020. The move was inspired by my son and the autism resources that are here in GA which I wanted to access for him. He was also my motivation to start my own company as a federal workforce solutions contractor and go back to school to get my 2nd master’s degree, a Master’s of Public Health. I was fortunate to get a contract back in 2019 that I still have today, plus four more since moving to GA. Now I share my experiences and knowledge with other potential government contractors.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Oh, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I’ve learned so much that I can now share with others. Learning about government contracting while taking graduate-level classes, plus being a single mom presented weekly and sometimes daily challenges of just balancing. But, I welcome the opportunity to help other small business owners so they won’t have to hit those learning curve pitfalls like I did.
My family has grown closer than ever as we navigate the autism journey, too.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Critical Access Network, LLC.?
I built my company along with the help of my older children. They’ve had a lot of responsibilities as we’ve grown. Healthcare staffing in the federal space is exciting and challenging partly because of the nationwide physician shortages, but we’ve built strong relationships with our partners who keep giving us more business and who refer us to their peers.
Our relationships have been what sets us apart from our competitors. The simple act of recruiting is transactional so we go the extra mile to make sure we get to know our partners and providers.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is visiting my grandparents and my cousins. My parents took a lot of trips and we got to stay with my aunts and grandparents. We cooked a lot and volunteered at church so I learned to give back at an early age.
