Has it been a smooth road?
After going through everything that I have been through in life I had to learn how to trust people again and in this industry that is something that is very important .You learn to keep your circle small. I have worked with so many people that have done such amazing things for me I would never turn it around but I’ve went through a lot to get here. From doing free work , meeting fake friends , and just being taken advantage of. But again it’s all part of the learning curve. I mean I’ve even worked with people in Atl and we created the greatest TV Show called Celebrity Mamas of Atlanta! That to was a learning curve but All of the mother’s were super amazing
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Tara Thomas Agency – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
What sets me apart from others is I am able to work with one of the biggest promotion companies in the United States which is G-Squared Events we are all my family. I have finally found a home. What sets me apart from others is I am a African-American woman who is determined to continue and build this company with Jeremiah, Alex and Ronnie.
We have been Featured in notable national publications, such as LA Times, Black Enterprise, Hype Magazine, ESPN Press, Vibe Magazine, and Source Magazine for its work across the entertainment industry.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Best: Juciy Crab
Worst: Opportunities are not here as everyone thinks you have to be creative and create your own opportunity.
Lol, no, best part of Atlanta is the rich black culture within the entertainment industry which is unseen in any other major city.
The worst part of Atlanta is that everyone tries to live up to the hype of Atlanta being a black mecca for business which ends up producing a whole bunch of entrepreneurs CEO’s and such that have no legitimate business. It’s almost like an endless web of networking that can lead you down a rabbit hole of nothing.
