Today, we’d like to introduce you to Tashe Sanovia. Tashe was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Sharon Elise.
Tashe, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As a kid I went a school trip to a mine where I was gifted a box of precious minerals such as granite, slate and a few other stones. I even collected rocks, gems, and crystals in my backyard growing up. Once I got older my interests shifted a bit where I focused on other things. Around 2016 I wanted to do something to myself and decided I wanted to start my own business. I loved candles and I wanted to do sometimes different with them. After doing some research I remembered I liked crystals so I thought to myself I could make these types of candles. Due to the pandemic in 2020 I finally put my 2016 thoughts into action. It was a stressful time for me. I found comfort in spirituality, astrology, celestial navigation of the moon, and ionic compounds in crystals. At first I was unsure and started to second guess myself, which we tend to do until I decided to look for my stones. I still have them, the stones meant something to me and now I see why. Six years later I am stepping into my purpose through trail and error. I am so proud of myself! Now I continue to grow business and network with some amazing people. Also, adding to my business I become a yoga instructor March 2023. I truly enjoy teaching. Adding yoga to my business has pushed me to make my business a lifestyle brand.
Please tell us more about your brand, Spiritual Essentials
Spiritual Essentials is an up and coming life style brand where I make candles and customized spiritual items. From healing crystals, candles, oils, and apparel. The overall goal of my business is to uplifting your mind, body, and spirit physically and mentally while looking and feeling your best!
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Sharon Elise and Night Fairy Wellness and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Night Fairy Wellness.
I first met Sharon of Night Fairy Wellness back in summer 2021 during a popup shop. Sharon was selling her teas and I was selling my candles. We both took a look at one another’s table and started following each other on Instagram. We ran into each other again at another popup shop and from there we started to keep in touch and share information on other upcoming events. Sharon reach out to me about vending at her show her business hosted in Newark at the Art Gallery and it was beautiful. From there, anything Sharon had going on I was in full support of and tried to show up for her business while she supported mine. We have remained consistent within the last year with networking, showing up for one another’s events and donations. With that consistency, we are considering partnering to further our brands. I believe they go hand and hand. I believe in Sharon vision and she believes as well. I am so grateful to have her in my corner and I am pretty sure she feels the same way. I believe we work well together and I am looking forward to all of the great things that we will accomplish.
