Tashima, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Surprisingly, I have always known I was going to own my own accounting firm. I have been saying this since I was in high school. However, I always wanted to be in the industry but lacked the talent and creativity to do so. I have worked in the accounting field since 2013, but it wasn’t until 2018 that I realized I wanted to niche down to the entertainment industry.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Absolutely NOT! In 2016 I came across someone who literally turned my world upside down for the worse which made my transition to the corporate world extremely difficult. The challenges I faced that year made me realize how important it was for you to create your own destiny.
KSK Tax & Accounting Solutions – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
KSK Tax and Accounting solution is a full serviced accounting firm focusing on the creatives BTS in the entertainment industry. We provide Production Accounting services for production budgets ranging from $10,000-$1million. We also do basic monthly accounting services of those who need to keep their books in order providing financial statements, KPI, Cash Analysis, and many more. We also provide tax services and tax planning. Although, we work mainly in the entertainment industry we do provide services to our small business owners.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
My luck good or bad has been based solely off of manifestation. If I speak good, I get good, and in return if I speak bad, I get bad.
