Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiana Wilson.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Well, I got started in the industry about eight years ago. I started out in esthetician school. Going to esthetic school really taught me about the skin. I went from working in a beauty salon to managing a makeup counter in the mall to now having my own suite! I got to where I am today because of the hard work I put into my craft. Nothing you truly want comes easy. Trust and believe there were plenty of bad days starting out but push forward and wanting it badly enough will pay off in the end.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to success has not been easy but the hard work made it worth so much to me. People can be really tough on the industry. You definitely have to have tough skin. I found out, in the beginning, it’s about who you know in some cases. But your work has to speak for itself.
Please tell us about Studio Pink.
My business/brand is Studio Pink! I am a Makeup Artist that provides full-face makeup application & also have a line of Eyelashes, Glitters & Lip Glosses. I am known for my soft, clean glamours Slays. I am most proud of finally having my own suite to provide my clients that personal experience. I believe my passion and drive sets me apart from everyone else. To know me is to know that this is truly is my passion! I try to make sure that comes across in my work.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory would have to be playing in my mom’s red lipstick, lol. I never forget the day she let me wear it to take pictures!
