Meet Taylor Troup of All Things Taylor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Troup.

Hi Taylor, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story begins in the small town of Alamo, Georgia. Growing up, my mother made it a point to document every moment of my life with a camera. At a young age, I was taught the importance of photography, and this also fostered my love for being behind a camera and in front of one. It wasn’t until my first year of high school in my Business and Technology class that my love for creating was birthed. For the next four years, Mrs. April Logue taught me the fundamental business practices while also allowing me to assist with yearbook preparations, learning to build websites, how to fill out a W-2 form, and taking photos every Friday night. She pushed me to be my best self while seeing many gifts I had yet to see in myself.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been easy for me. People don’t talk about how hard it is to start, not financially but mentally. The odds will tell you that you are more likely to fail than succeed. It is easier to listen and believe a statistic than to have faith in a dream. All Things Taylor started as s business plan for my 12th-grade economics class project, and it was simply Taylor Mackenzie Photography. It wasn’t until my first year of college that I began searching for what I wanted to be and chose a career path. I struggled with choosing. The world pushes sticking to ONE field. I thought, why can’t I be everything? Only recently, I began adapting the mindset that I can be anything. This is when I officially obtained my LLC, went into modeling even more, and became serious about pursuing my desires.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I created All Things Taylor because I wanted my brand and business to represent who I am and who I’m becoming. I am multifaceted and have many interests and a desire to pursue them all. I created a space where people can feel comfortable being diverse. In a world that tells you to choose, All Things Taylor is a brand and a business designed for you to be ultimately you. My current focus is photography and graphic design, but my goal is to expand to a full Marketing firm.

What are your plans for the future?
After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, I plan to attend law school at Thurgood Marshall School of law to pursue a career as a civil and human rights attorney or a political journalist. My pageant journey has not ended, and I plan on representing the state of Georgia on a few more national stages before going to Miss Georgia USA. I’m excited to advance in youtube and Instagram and turn All Things Taylor into a full-time marketing firm. I work in public relations as an associate publicist for Pageant Relations, LLC, and social media director for You Go Girl Enterprises. I am looking forward to furthering my success in both of those capacities.
