Meet Tekee Parker of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tekee Parker.

Hi Tekee, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I originally come from Flint, MI. I came to Atlanta for college in 1996. I graduated from GSU undergrad and CTU for graduate school.I started my career in commercial real estate about eight years ago, learning the business from the ground up and building my reputation deal by deal. Early on, I realized I wasn’t interested in just transactions — I wanted to be a true advocate for my clients, helping them make smart, long-term decisions that support growth.

Over the years, I’ve worked across retail, office, and mixed-use projects, representing both buyers and tenants, with a strong focus on expansion and repositioning opportunities. Being based in Atlanta has allowed me to watch the city evolve, and I’ve grown alongside it, adapting to market shifts while staying relationship-driven.

Today, I’m known for being strategic, hands-on, and straightforward. I take pride in connecting the right people, creating value beyond the deal, and aligning real estate with business goals. At this stage of my career, it’s more about impact — helping clients scale thoughtfully and contributing to projects that strengthen the community.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like most long-term careers, there were ups and downs early on. Breaking into commercial real estate required thick skin, patience, and consistency, especially during slower markets and economic shifts. There were times deals fell apart late, income was unpredictable, and I had to stay focused while others around me burned out or quit.

I also had to learn how to advocate for myself — trusting my instincts, setting boundaries, and not undervaluing my expertise. That growth didn’t come overnight. Each challenge forced me to sharpen my skills, strengthen relationships, and operate with more confidence and intention.

Those struggles shaped how I work today. They made me resilient, strategic, and grounded — and honestly, I wouldn’t change that part of the journey.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
