Today we’d like to introduce you to Telly Latti. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Chantale Lattibeaudiere, known professionally as (“Telly Latti”) to Haitian parents in Washington State. This army brat has lived & traveled all throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States. Upon return to the United States, they went to visit Queens, New York where her family is from. Culturally it was vastly different, and she started going through experiences good and bad that shaped her into the person we see today. As an adult, she settled and began my family in the Washington DC/Baltimore area also known as the DMV, and began her career with social media promotion and assisting with the logistics of Caribbean events. People would hire Telly because she knew “how to make sh*t happen”.
During her promotional career, Telly was able to get radio promotions for organizations and companies on-air. In doing so, she discovered her love for being on the air. In ‘2014, West Indian Media Maven “Candy Bee” fostered Telly’s natural bubbly voice, vibe and welcomed her aboard as a co-host on the Talk-UP Live Show at Ablazin Radio and another show called “West Indian Yankee Show” where I was co-hosting again with Candy Bee at Hustle Firm Entertainment. They then hired a DJ named Teddy Kloraxx to add to the team. They all had some type of West Indian descent in them, but she was the one that made it Yankee because Telly is American-born, but you would never know. Candy is from Guyana and Teddy is from Jamaica, so that’s how we came up with the name. They were the team, I tell you. Topics on top of topics, arguments, and lots of love at the same time. Preezy, the owner of Hustle Firm was the first one to tell her she was going to make it far in a meeting one day after a show. That this is her calling because she was funny and didn’t even realize it. It just came naturally, what’s really funny is she would be serious, not even trying to make a joke. He used to be so hard on her. She used to go in the bathroom and want to cry. But she sees why now and this is why he is still one of her mentors today. When Telly needs advice about anything or business-related, she knows for a fact he’s going to give it to her straight. If you don’t want to hear the honest to god truth don’t ask him. Then she was asked to start her own show on Real Xplosion Radio.
At first, she didn’t want to do it because she felt like she was turning her back on her team. It was the three of us for so long. It was one of the hardest things she ever had to do. But their DJ Teddy came to her and said “Telly its ok you got this do it. I can stay and help you for a while” Teddy has always been a good friend and encouraging. Candy Bee was also happy for her co-host and gave her blessings. Real Explosion saw something in her that Telly didn’t see. They knew Telly was scared to be honest. But the owners Nikki, Wayne, and Chris were very encouraging and by her side every step of the way. This is when the birth of “Let’s Chit Chat Show” in 2019 begun, and now this is where she really found herself and voice. She had huge help behind the scenes getting interviews set-up with PR’s and promoters such as Ms. J, Flair Lindsey, Royaltee Global, Star Link, Wendy, Gucci Links, Danielle Noon, and many more. Then after a while she was looking for another DJ for her show. She never wanted to put up a post, so she just starting watching new upcoming DJ’s on her co-worker’s Breeze Boss and Fresh shows called TNL. This is where she found her new DJ. She reached out to him on IG, but he didn’t answer soon enough for her. So she reached out to Breezy and asked him if he thought that he would be interested and he said yes. Breezy then said he would reach out to him and the link was made. DJ Don Cardio answered my inbox and said yes. She was so happy after that.
After two years of intense training and lots of growth the duo is still going strong. Grateful is an understatement on how much she loves Real Xplosion for even believing in her and giving her a platform to be heard on. Telly then took the opportunity and parlayed it into her own media empire. She will forever give Real Xplosion their flowers because that’s where her real start to being a radio personality begun solo. Even though she misses her old team at times. This is also where she met her management team out of Montreal, Canada. Jam Rock Records Publishing with Yvonne Jacobs. A co-worker of hers Ms. Nookie introduced them, and it took off from then. Telly is now the owner of her own media powerhouse called “Chit Chat Radio 410 aka CCR410” which started out of Baltimore, Maryland. Wittingly deemed after this Haitian American’s popping personality, “Let’s Chit Chat Show”! Since the station’s humble beginnings, Telly has grown immensely. Selectah Genius has to be a god sent to her as well, and support is an understatement. He’s her engineer, right-hand man, a real-life genius when comes to business and electronics, graphic design. He is just absolutely awesome and extremely talented. She has interviewed some of the biggest names in Canada such as Juno award winner Wesli Louissaint; she was so excited to interview this artist from her own culture.
Now in dancehall, soca and Caribbean community she interviewed Konshens, Fimba, TeeJay, Sheensea, Mineral Boss, Stinga J, Anga Kidd, Leo Carmichael, Olaide Banks, Julian Marley, Lisa Hyper, Dingdong, I-Octane, Cubanis, Shawn Ice, Macka Diamond, Badda General, ZJ Liquid, Shinehead, Mr. Easy, Cutty Ranks, Singing Melody, Da’Ville, Lukie D, Vyzadon, Shaniel Muir, Hood Celebrity, Lady Danger, Kayla Allen, Droop Lion, and many others just stay tuned to her on-going show! With Telly everyone has a voice and can be featured. Telly has also interviewed upcoming artists on her show called “Rising Stars”, which happens on Thursdays from 7-8 pm hip-hop artists, chefs, merchandise brands, and she has a segment named “Kids Korner” where she interviews young entrepreneurs. Telly’s brand expands daily, and she looks forward to conquering new heights and bringing more exposure to the Caribbean & West Indian American community through “Let’s Chit Chat Show”. As well as being a prominent media personality, wife, mother, CAPM, CSM, HR professional, Life Coach, upcoming Psychologist, great friend, a voice, domestic violence volunteer, and a fierce advocate for the Caribbean community.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Not really. You know regular things like canceled shows. Programming on the station not working. Nothing that couldn’t be fixed.

Chit Chat Radio 410 is a broadcasting station for people who are denied a voice in the mainstream media. We use the public airwaves for news, music, performance, and communicating with each other about our real daily lives and communities. Chit Chat Radio 410 aims to entertain, inspire, and enrich listeners through a mix of music, culture, education, and community affairs programs and services. Our station acts as a forum for people and issues that typically lack media access and promotes positive social change. I’m the owner and a radio personality on my own platform. Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Yes, that digital media is in high demand. Everyone is online looking for something to do or say. That tomorrow isn’t promise. I lost a lot of loved ones since the pandemic started. That put me into a deep depression for over a year. But I’ve been healing and helping others heal as well. I’m back now interviewing full force. I’m enjoying my family and life to the max.
