Sure! It all started back in 2013 back home in NYC! I always knew I wanted to work for myself I just didn’t know what until one day I was talking to a friend and decided to start selling waist trainers. Yes, before waist trainers were selling like hotcakes! I was already working with a faja company from Colombia. I always looked for ways to have a snatched body without surgery. I then put my trainers and compression garments Amazon and it took off!! I had so many sales but not enough products to ship out.
Fast forward to 2014, I moved my kids and myself to Atlanta I was looking to do something or rather add something to my business that can help it boost because after moving to atl, the online business had slowed down. In 2018 I decided I wanted to add non-invasive body contouring and provide faja’s and faja fittings all in a physical location! In early 2019 I did just that opened my first salon suite and trained In NYC and certified Cryo technician! We were one of the few salons that offered Cryo slimming and toning treatments in the Suwanee/Johns Creek area!
It was a struggle trying to start from the bottom and gain new clients and let the surrounding areas know that I was offering these services. It was really draining I tried everything I could gain, maybe five clients, it was starting to get very discouraging and at times, I really just wanted to give up. I was wasting hundreds of dollars on marketers that was not producing and results. So of course, once Covid hit I felt like that was it had to close up and no knowledge of what was gonna happen.
During Covid, I really did a lot of Facebook ads and IG ads because everyone was home and online, it was the best time to build up clients so when we opened back up I can just get things going again. Whelp as soon as they reopened GA, I had to find a new space due to having to shut down so a good colleague of mine let me rent space out of DASH performance in Lawrenceville GA, where most of the professional athletes go to train I was able to connect with some good people and with everyone having to stay In my ads worked this time! I had gone from five clients to over 90 new clients! I was in so much disbelief! It was a great moment because what if I had just given up but I didn’t I kept pushing I kept doing everything I could to gain clients and boom went from making not a lot of money to making 6figure!
I started in a small salon suite to rent a space in the gym to now as of November 1st, a 1250 square foot space that’s all mine and went from offering one service to adding over 8 to 10 new body contouring services like cave-lipo, post-op care (I was able to go over to the DR and train with some very well known doctors) laser lipo, rf skin tightening, non-invasive bbl’s and also needless lip injections.
Has it been a smooth road?
No, It was so hard to get new clients and to get people to know what my business did! I was paying out more money than I was making, so I was ready to give up numerous times but I just kept pushing because I knew at some point my work would start to speak for itself.

And a new service which is a needless lip filler. This procedure consists of injecting hyaluronic acid fillers (HAF) into the lips without a NEEDLE! We were known first for our faja’s but now finally the body contouring services is really taken off.
I am just over proud of how I never gave up and can literally say “started from the bottom now I’m here”-drake. What sets my business aside from others that I had heard from my clients it’s themselves is that I really care about my clients achieving their body goals and that I have done all the services on myself so I can really experience in that area. I want everyone to win and look snatched at the same time.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, for sure! Everyone is Atlanta wants to look good we’re like the black Hollywood lol! The beauty industry is work for over a billion dollars! I would tell them to be dedicated and to see everything through! Do your research and really understand nothing happens overnight! Umm, I’m not to sure I would say maybe more networking events. And or highlight our smaller businesses like you guys are doing!
