Today we’d like to introduce you to Tera Chantelle.
Tera, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
The journey started with a lot of preparation, training, and developing the unstoppable mindset. After indulging myself with books, self-love & self-care, I’ve decided I would love to share all the wisdom I’ve learned over the years. That’s where “Take The Lead Podcast” came about. This platform encourages us to take control of our own destiny. It will not happen until you make it happen. Once you realize you are an example to this generation you will start to move different & carry yourself with strong values. Take The Lead Podcast touches on leadership, self-work, action steps & the ultimate self-love guide. Take The Lead is streaming on all platforms.
After all this motivation on the podcast, I had no choice but to level up. Once you shift your mindset the world around will shift as well. Everything will start working in your favor once you laser in on your goals. One of my goals was to be actress. I begin booking roles like commercials, short films & feature films. I was beyond grateful but I knew I had a story to tell. So, it happen. I wrote “Royal Purpose” & produced the short film as well. It all started as an idea now it is finally in post-production after a productivity five months of planning. It goes to show it all in our own hands. The real question is how bad do you want it?
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’m still learning one day at a time. I realized over the years we all don’t have all the answers to the road of success. We must be there for one another & support each other. We can’t do this alone. I’ve learned from the challenges it’s okay to need help. Don’t let the ego talk you out of asking for help. Close mouths don’t get fed.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
Tera Chantelle is an ARTtivist, leader, spiritual gangsta, libra goddess, writer, producer & content creator. She is able to make something out of nothing with the creativity within her. My Short Film is called Royal Purpose. It is made to end the war between Black Men & Black Woman by demonstrating a positive image of us not being at war together through this film. Royal Purpose is a romantic comedy that is set up to heal black relationships and focus on Black Love. We are all here in unity. It is far more important to our legacy as Black People to win together instead of letting an outside force break us down.
What sets Tera Chantelle apart from the crowd it is that she’s a woman with integrity. That’s why she created a movement known as “Black Integrity.” The purpose of Black Integrity to teach the youth the code of ethics of their own values to live by. We must do the right thing over what is trending or cool even when no one is watching you. The culture depends on you.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My peace of mind is the true key to my success.
