Meet Terrence Williams

Today we’d like to introduce you to Terrence Williams.

Hi Terrence, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Everybody call me T. I wear many hats, I’m a son, I love my mama, I’m a brother, I love my sisters, I’m a dad, I love my children, this is my main motivation to provide them a life of comfortability. I’m currently working with a group of minds that help build up talented individuals with goals to accomplish. We have officially launched a roku channel (Roku/wauxtv) dedicated to putting a spotlight on any and everyone that puts time and effort into their crafts. I’m head of operations so I oversee all producing, directing, editing, camera crew, marketing, technical, and counseling (I went to college a short while for psychology/human resources) so I personally put a lot into developing talent that Me and my team deal with, we are all invested in seeing you (the talent) grow. Calling all talented people looking to get noticed, send your videos, music or any works that you consider art to wauxtv@gmail.com.

Well, I guess my story is pretty much like the majority of young black men. I grew up in a single-parent household which was with my mother of course, I had three siblings, older sisters, I’m the baby and the man of the house. I’ve always seen the struggles we endured as learning lessons saying to myself that I wouldn’t repeat mistakes, even as a grown man, I still make simple mistakes and miscalculations and we just have to push through them to learn the lesson I’ve spent years hustling and scraping and transferring funds from account to account OK working with the majority of my time sleeping in my free time trying to make a difference Come to find out life goes on whether you rich or poor, so why not try to reach for your dreams in the meantime? My love of music was the beginning of this journey into the world of entertainment. I started off as a rapper, then I got into the production side of things, now my focus is to engulf every aspect of the business to prosper for my future. That’s from creation to editing to broadcast to show.

We’ve started a roku channel (Roku/Wauxtv) focused on the passion for trying to get good talent noticed. So paired with the radio station (wauxradio.com) which is also focused towards getting the unsigned artist noticed, We plan to be making some noise out here very soon. I eventually want to start a nonprofit for further development of our homeless population to get adequate housing and fair treatment from those that govern us. Did you know it is unlawful to help a homeless person you may run across in your neighborhood? The police will stop you from handing out food or toiletries if they see you. I just want to help my people the best ways possible, and you helping me is a mandatory component to be able to put my plan into play, so hopefully people will care that I care and step up so we can team together to make that difference, We have huge plans to make a major difference in the lives of the people that want a change, so don’t be thrown off by the amount of donations we are asking for. There will be property acquired to house such individuals and so many upgrades to daily life that these individuals deserve, so help us help others. We have a gofundme set up @ (https://gofund.me/79445380) and we’re always accepting any donations to help further these causes.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life is not a smooth road, so I’ve learned to look at struggles, roadblocks, speed bumps, and any hindrances as learning lessons to help further development of my skills, my goals, and my aspirations to be great. One of my biggest challenges has been to find individuals that I can work with on a consistent, reliable basis. People tend to be gungho until they see how much work is involved, then they slowly disappear into the background. Especially here in Atlanta I’ve come across so many people that fabricate a whole existence, including name dropping that couldn’t be further from the truth, and I like to call bluffs so i’m disappointed a lot in that aspect. At the end of the day it takes a team to build a structure, so even though you may think you can do it by yourself, you will eventually need more components to complete a successful project.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a television producer, director, editor, and programmer for PeopleTv currently. I’m also programmer and technical director for Wauxradio.com, Tv.wauxradio.com, and on (Roku/WAUXTV). I personally oversee most of the daily operations for these two companies. I am one of those Jack of all trades people, guess you could just say I’m a problem solver. If something needs to be done, I will find a way to get it done, if I can’t do it myself, I will find the right person for the job. I’ve noticed most people will say “that’s not my job” and this is where I become the one man band.

What matters most to you?
Time. I feel time is invaluable, so scheduling properly is utmost important to me. I am very flexible with lending my helping hand to people with actual goals, but I do not like wasted time, you can’t get those moments back so make the best of every minute, day, or encounter.
