Terry, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
As a young black male, there are so many paths/directions you can take/follow. We all know not every option is a positive one. I didn’t want that for myself, I have children to take care of and be present for. Knowing all of this TC Carpet Cleaning was born. A friend of mine was already in the business and showed me the in/outs. I took that knowledge and ran with it. I bought my first truck and the rest is history!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t been a road without struggle, but it has definitely been a blessing. Like with any business, you have to build your clientele turning customers into clients. In addition, you have your slow season (fall/winter) then, SHAPOW tax season, spring and summer puts you back on top!

TC Carpet Cleaning has serviced its share of residential & commercial businesses throughout Metro Atlanta & surrounding areas. We stay true to our slogan GUARANTEED GREAT WORK. That, along with great personable customer service sets us apart from the rest and keeps us working and at the forefront of the carpet cleaning business. The amount of customers that we’ve turned into clients is what we’re most proud of. Repeat clients mean we are doing something right!
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
As an entrepreneur, the two proudest moments has to be when I realized that I was doing something I loved, so it didn’t feel like work & that something turned enough profit to fund my lifestyle and take care of my family.
