Meet Timothy Mosley of Constellation Music Group and No Ego Studio in Calhoun

Today we’d like to introduce you to Timothy Mosley.

Timothy, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Well, honestly I’ve come across a lot of musical styles from when I was young until now. Music is what helps me to cope with the trials of everyday life. There’s a lot of music out there to fit the mood I’m in and to relax me. I’ve was raised off of country music, but I wasn’t no yeehaw kinda guy, haha. I’ve sampled Pop, Hip Hop, East Coast Hip Hop, West Coast Hip Hop, Rock, Alternative Rock, Punk Rock, Metal, Thrash Metal, (the list can go on for Heavy Metal because there are so many different styles in there), Blues, Reggae, Latin, and Funk.

At the age of 18 years old is when I picked up my first guitar. I’ve been playing since and trying to learn all of the styles of music I enjoy since then. When I was 18, I roadied for a heavy metal band named LowDown. They were neighbors of mine. We didn’t know each other. I just simply showed up at their doorstep and one thing leads to another. I have done the roadie thing for ten years until they broke up. Later on, I’ve met Artis Hilliard, Julius Ames, and Kiara Jackson Ames. That’s the Short story anyways.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s definitely been a struggle between balancing my family and music life. My mother is sick with Lupus with a bunch of other things that I personally don’t want to talk about. I help take care of my grandmother that lives with us also. Taking them to the doctor is a big part of what I do.

Some people I’ve worked within the past never really understood that and it messed a few things up in the past for me, but things happen for a reason. I was just getting used to it at the time, but now I’ve got a grip on it a lot more now and it’s becoming a lot easier. Music has always been there for me to escape when I needed to escape. So THANK YOU to all the artists and bands out there. Keep doing what you do and don’t let anything stand in your way. You’re always going to touch someone’s soul out there that needs it.

Please tell us about Constellation Music Group and No Ego Studio.
Constellation Music Group are four producers from a different area of the music realm. Julius is the R&B/Hip Hop producer/mixing/master person. Artis is the R&B producer, Kiara is the Trap producer, and I’m the West Coast Hip Hop. That’s why they call me T West. I can do some other styles, but that’s what I excel in for right now. We have a studio in Calhoun, GA. We also have a Facebook and Instagram page named No Ego Studio. We aren’t happy at all until the customer likes the music we wrote for them. We’re really wholesome and have No Ego. Hints No Ego Studio. Leaving ego’s at the door and making great music is what we do.
