Today we’d like to introduce you to TJ Mixon.
TJ, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve always had big aspirations and dreams for music. I am a music producer by trade and I have had a few jobs in music. The thing that always prevented me from going full throttle in music is the average capital of a musician-producer or artist starting out. It’s not that likely to make a lot of money initially. So, I majored in computer science in college. This major led me to get a co-op internship with General Electric Aviation that I loved. However, it made me realize that I would never feel right if I spent that much time away from music so I was in a dilemma with just doing music or continuing to do computer science for the money! At the time, my girlfriend had just started trading binary options and currencies with IM Academy, I started off doing it on the side but I begin to make a lot of money and impact so many lives that I realized this is what is going to take me to my dream of opening studios. Six months into the business I became a top earner and leader in the Investment Group and I created my Investment Team SMACK. Now smack has become my entire life, I love the people in it and the culture we have built. I know this will help plenty of people like me fund their dreams.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has definitely not been a smooth road at all, when I first decided to take this business seriously, I did not know much about investing in currencies at all! It became hard for me to help others make money when I didn’t have a great grasp of everything, we weren’t always SMACK, we were once “DreamTeam,” and then we changed to “Vision Decision.” In January, my entire team left me to do other things, make money other ways. It was a very sad point in my life where I thought about giving it up, but my mother came into the business with me, and for a few months, it was just her and me but during that time, we really learned the ins and outs of currency investing. Fast forward to May, I was able to educate a vast number of people through the success I was obtaining and then that’s when I created SMACK!
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
SMACK is an acronym that stands for Self-made Millionaires Acquiring Capital Knowledge. We serve as an educational resource to trade in the world’s largest market. Our biggest goal is to educate the masses on how they can change their life from their phone. I am most proud of the educational culture of SMACK. We don’t just scratch the surface with the things we learn and things we can do we are innovating the way people look at our business and increasing people’s beliefs in themselves and in their future! The thing that separates SMACK from others is, without a doubt, our love and care for each other’s goals, we push each other to be the best no matter what your best looks like, we will make sure you are always on your toes!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Everything and Nothing! Honestly, I can say had I not went through most of what I went through, I wouldn’t have had the drive and determination that I have to this day. I love everything that happens to me because a lesson learned is a lesson earned. My downfalls enable me to help those who come behind me and protect them from making similar unfortunate circumstances for themselves.
