Today we’d like to introduce you to Todd Burkhalter.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Todd. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’ve been in the business of serving people and helping them to achieve their hopes and dreams for just over 20 years.
For a majority of my career, it was strictly limited to financial success but Drive Planning was created to help someone achieve a more holistic type of success. Over the years we had helped people achieve significant financial wealth however, even with big bank accounts, they weren’t always happy in life. Now we have the resources and processes to help people in a more meaningful way but still keeping the financial aspect.
Most recently, I have written a new book, Bullet Proof Your Finances. Last month Amazon listed it as the #1 New Release for Financial Education. It serves as a step by step guide to help someone design the life they desire.
My company, Drive Planning is headquartered in Midtown Atlanta with two other locations in the metro area plus our newest office in St. Petersburg, FL where I spend a bulk of my time now.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not hardly! Success definitely isn’t a straight line. 😂 I’m so blessed to have the support of my beautiful wife and best friend Jackie Burkhalter. Things haven’t always been perfect but when a couple works together anything is possible.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
We have tons of exciting projects going on throughout the firm. Our leadership team at Drive is like family, myself along with David Bradford and Michael Woodford are creating something really special. I am most proud of the life change that our members experience through all of the work we’re doing!

- People feeling better than ever
Those are the things I am most proud of in regards to Drive Planning. Personally, I’m also really excited for now having the opportunity to work each day with my wife, Jackie! She has recently launched Drive Real Estate. She is helping our Members create life changing income from Short term Rental Investment Properties in Georgia and Florida.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Most of my favorite memories center around baseball. We won often and I am thankful for the coaches that developed me and my attitude towards success. Bigger than winning on the field are the lessons that I’ve taken from that time to help win off the field. Team sports in general are so important for helping us to get along with others in business and life; it allows for people from different backgrounds to battle together, work together and learn together all for a common goal.
I’d be remiss if i didn’t mention my parents who were super involved and were integral in, obviously, my childhood but more importantly, me as a person even today. I appreciate the values they instilled in me and their dedication as parents.
