Today we’d like to introduce you to Todd Myles.
Todd, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My father Marty Myles drove trucks & ran his own trucking business my entire life. I have drove trucks my entire life. In 1997, I started Myles Trucking & ran furniture across the southeast & completed local home deliveries for Rooms To Go. It grew and I continued adding tractors & trailers to my fleet. In 2008, I sold out & did some soul searching, I had the opportunity in 2012 to purchase another trucking company & a diesel repair shop. Since 2012, myself & my two sons have rapidly grown both sides. I went from having one truck in 1997 to a large fleet of premium trucks & trailers, a full-service shop, & towing service.
Has it been a smooth road?
Hell No. In 2008 when the economy slowed, I sold my trucking company & invested in many other ventures. I started a concession trailer at the local ballpark as well as buying and selling Jeep Wranglers. I kept trying and trying different things, eventually getting back in to the trucking industry.

I currently own & operate two different businesses. Myles Truck Repair is a full diesel service shop in Lawrenceville. We fix any and all equipment from tractor trailers, RVs, buses, forklifts, and heavy equipment. We specialize in all types of repair from engine oil changes to engine rebuilds. We also operate a full roadside emergency service with multiple service trucks & a heavy duty wrecker. We are known as a family run business with exceptional service & fair pricing. We also run a fleet of tractor trailers across America so we know how crucial it is to keep your trucks & equipment running. Myles Trucking currently has a fleet of flatbeds, specialty 90-foot-long stretch trailers as well as a refrigerated trailer. Myles Trucking is known for its well-kept equipment & timely deliveries. We are most proud of our equipment in both our trucking, repair, road service, & towing ventures. We pride our self with having the best looking & up to date equipment. We use a state of the art Hunter laser aligning machine as well as force match tire balancing machine to keep your semi rolling straight & smooth down the interstate. What really sets us apart is our dedication to getting the job done & our love for trucks & what trucking represents.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Lawrenceville has been a good home for us, we have been able to grow greatly even with lots of competition. Lawrenceville is full of trucks & lots of great local businesses with trucks. One of my favorite moments in Lawrenceville was having my company participate in Lawrenceville’s first Christmas Parade. We took a couple of our trucks & mechanics all dressed as Christmas characters & handed out candy to kids. I would recommend starting a business in Lawrenceville, the location relative to Atlanta & the interstates flows lots of trucks our way.

I have worked for Todd Myles since he bought the company ,I worked for. I have been driving for 23 year’s. Todd is a good man a fair man and boss. He is a great friend and boss. This company has been my home since 2007. And I love working for Todd. He has great sons and he has been out here on the road and understands what it takes out of you. And your family life. He’s always good to me and my family. And I will be here as long as he will let me. I am hoping to move from over the road to the towing company soon. Cause I love the people that work here and Todd and his family! Because I feel like I’m apart of an extend family working here! Everyone that works here is family. From the trucking, repair shop and towing. I couldn’t ask for a better place to work and be part of a bigger team and family!

I have worked for Todd Myles, since he bought the company. I have worked here since 2007. But Todd is a great boss. And a good friend. He and his sons are great people. We are all family here. I couldn’t see me working any where else. We’re all family at Myles inc. From the trucking company to the towing company and repair shop. It’s one big family!
