So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’m an 18-year veteran in restaurant management. My dream has always been to own my own business. I finally realized that dream last September in becoming a franchisee with Cinnaholic.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Changing my mindset was the biggest challenge. I had to decide that each step along the way that I wasn’t sure how to get through was just a problem that needed to be solved. I committed to solving each problem as it came along and didn’t let them fester or grow.
Please tell us about Cinnaholic.
Cinnaholic makes customized gourmet cinnamon rolls. We serve them hot and fresh directly from the oven. We have about 30 different frosting choices and about 25 toppings to choose from for your cinnamon roll.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
There are so many great ones… probably one of my better basketball games or my first tennis camp with my cousins when I was in Tulsa.
