Meet Toni Freeman of Amir Event in Gwinnett County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Toni Freeman.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Toni. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was born a military brat in San Diego, CA and moved to GA several years later. I have been planning events since I was in elementary school. I have a lot of cousins and summers were my time to shine. I would plan parties for my cousin’s birthdays and do mock parties just to make the summer fun. I knew that I loved event planning from day one.

It wasn’t long before I enrolled into Kennesaw States business school to begin my journey in 2007. I received my LLC and got to work learning the business and studying event planer that I admired.

Dave Tutura is definitely an inspiration. My very first company event was a Fall festival for my church
preschool.

I am family based and I put 100% in my work. I look forward to making your event special and a great memory for years to come.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
When starting a business you always has doubt and worries. My motto is “feel the fear and do it anyway” Being a single mom of 3 kids I found a way to get my kids involved and we make this a family affair. I started my business in 2007 while I was pregnant with my youngest son who is now 10. I worked my way and learned what I needed to learn to run a business. I worked my brand part time and it wasn’t until I was let go from a corporate job that I had begun to get comfortable in that I was forced to give it my all and I don’t want to turn back. I will take the struggles and all feeling every fear and doing it anyway!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Amir Event – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Amir Event is an Event planning and décor company. We specialize in weddings and all social events like baby showers, anniversary parties and birthday parties. We want to create stress free memories during special times in your life. We are here to plan and celebrate big days is this journey we call life.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our Goal is to be one a celebrity event planning company as well as being a household name across the south east. We also plan to have a location for our clients to celebrate and make memories in.
