Meet Trailblazer Adabelle Buntrock

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adabelle Buntrock.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Adabelle. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
I was born in Mexico and moved to Atlanta in 1996, and it has been my home since then. Spanish was my first language, and I had to learn English when I was 8 and moved to the states. I attended Georgia Tech for college, and I love all things in Atlanta. I have been working in social media marketing for over five years, and I help brands build social strategies. In July 2017, I decided to start my blog The Daily Belle. I have been wanting to start a blog for a while but was hesitant and worried I did not have the time to dedicate to it and didn’t know where to start. My husband works in tech, and he told me he could help me get things up and running. I remember being at the gym running on a treadmill and I told myself I was just going to go for it. I started thinking about five blog post ideas and started writing, while my husband was designing everything else for me. I have always had a passion for fashion and sharing my looks and finds. I am always so proud when I find things on sale and love sharing with my followers. I also LOVE traveling, and so does my husband. I like to share my travel guides and tips with my readers as well. Last year, my husband and I had a trip planned each month, and we visited amazing places and made so many memories. My blog also focuses on lifestyle content and recently I have started incorporating “baby and maternity” posts due to my pregnancy. I have changed so much in the past year. I went from being super shy to putting myself out there without any filter and networking and meeting different people. Friendships have been my favorite part about blogging. I’m never scared to message someone and ask to meet up or for blogging advance. I learned along the way that if the worst thing that can happen is someone says no, then I am okay with it.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The hardest part about blogging besides making time for it with a full-time job is probably dealing with the haters and people judging you even though they know nothing about you. It doesn’t happen often, but there are occasionally some trolls that are out to get you because they’re unhappy with themselves. I’ve learned that people will judge no matter what so why not focus on doing what you love and let them judge you on that. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, and I am not going to stop blogging or being myself just because five people don’t agree with me.

We’d love to hear more about The Daily Belle Blog.
For my full-time job I work at a marketing agency in Atlanta and work specifically on social media. I work with a very large well known (worldwide) client, and I have the best of both worlds. Blogging is my hobby/side hustle, and I enjoy doing it outside of work. A lot of the things I learn at work are helpful to apply to my blogging life.

I think I’m different from other bloggers because I have a really thorough background on social media and use it to the best of my advantage. I have contacts at all the social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and I am always hearing the latest news on their platform updates and where the industry is headed. I’m also trilingual, and I think that makes me pretty unique! 🙂

Do you feel like there was something about the experiences you had growing up that played an outsized role in setting you up for success later in life?
Yes! Moving from Mexico to the US was quite a challenge that I faced early on in my life (age 8). I dealt with bullying, and I think it’s why I am such a strong person and don’t let things get to me. I was also challenged with learning a completely different language and had to be the translator for my parents in the early years that we lived here. That was probably the biggest change in my life, and I think it prepared me for anything and has made me a really strong person.
