Today we’d like to introduce you to Yolanda Snipes.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am an educator of 22 years and went into production and media. I started out with Touching the Heart of Purpose which evolved into His Heart Network, LeeSadie Productions, LeeSadie Media Group, and Godlock Magazine.
Dr. Yolanda “Cookie” Snipes currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her family. Dr. Snipes is a woman of great integrity, determination, and compassion for others rooted in her Christian Faith. She has achieved a magnitude of success as an educator in both South Florida and Georgia through professional commitment and personal dedication to those along her path.
Her educational degrees and certificates include a degree in Psychology and Communication from Palm Beach Atlantic University; one of (Forbes’) listed top Christian Universities. Master’s in Education from Nova Southeastern University, an Advanced Certificate in Graduate Studies in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and completed her Doctorate Degree at Christian Leadership University. She leads LeeSadie Productions, LLC, LeeSadie Media Group (non-profit).
In the Summer of 2012, she launched her Ministry, “Touching the Heart of Purpose”, to empower others and their organizations in reaching their purpose which evolved into His Heart Network. His Heart Network consists of ten faith-based Blog Talk Radio shows with a diverse genre along with giving back to the community through a school mentoring and community event participation. Dr. Snipes also directed the stage play, Freedom Ain’t Free: How much will your freedom cost? By Lisa Dixon. She has written the play “Father – The Untold Story “about the effects of growing up in a fatherless household on families and communities. She is currently in production of the television pilot Mind Screams. Mind Screams (Broken Innocence) is a documentary on the effects of childhood domestic violence on adult survivors. She has produced the documentaries, Eve’s Daughter – Documentary of African Women Living in the United States and The Real Georgia Peaches -Documentary of Women in Georgia.
Dr. Snipes defines “Purpose” as the inner drive designed with natural gifts in reaching ultimate personal and professional goals; Christian Media personality that shares her faith and testimony to encourage others in their everyday life challenges, along with special programming for various communities, ministries, and business organizations.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road, When bringing others on I have had individuals try to claim my material as their own. My advice to a young woman is making sure to obtain legal counsel, copyright and trademark on all your materials. Make sure you respect your intellectual property.

I am an educator of 20 plus years and been an educator in College Park since 2006. I am CEO of LeeSadie Productions, LLC which is preproduction of plays, documentaries, .and reality drama. LeeSadei media Group is a non-profit that provides training and mentoring in media for youth and adults. His Heart Network has 12 different Faith-based shows on BlogTalk Radio and Godlock Magazine is a new faith-based magazine focusing on Leaders leaving legacies in the community. I specialize in providing platforms for individuals to tell their stories. I am proud that my companies stand on integrity and purpose. What sets us apart is that we strive for purpose and not popularity.

Leaders to Legacy VIP Ceremony by Godlock Magazine
On November 9th, Godlock Magazine honored our Leaders to Legacy in Downtown Atlanta at Apex Museum with the Honorable Judge Alford Dempsey as the Keynote Speaker led Dr. Yolanda “Cookie” Snipes (CEO of LeeSadie Productions and LeeSadie Media Group) hosted by Atlanta’s very own Christopher Martin. Leaders to Legacy promotes others to actively make a difference in the lives of others through services and mentoring. We honored amazing professionals in our community.
The Poe Legacy Lifetime Achievement Award was presented by the Poe Family consisting of Dr. Booker Poe, Attorney Brian Poe, Ryann Poe, Sydney Poe and Ph.D. Candidate Janita Poe to the Honorable Judge Alford Dempsey, Dan Moore, Sr of Apex Museum and Journalist Alexis Scott.
Leaders to Legacy is an international brand focusing on empowering others to create a legacy from their career, education, and community experience. Leaders to Legacy focuses on contributions beyond the interaction between clientele but the impact on the community. Leaders to Legacy is becoming a movement of next generation paying-forward led by Dr. Yolanda “Cookie” Snipes and her co-partner Attorney Brian Poe of Georgia Injury Attorney. Dr. Snipes receive a Proclamation from the City of Atlanta presented by Councilmember Michael Julian Bond for her hard work in promoting legacy and mentoring in the community. We would like to encourager Leaders in every aspect of life to consider the Legacy they are leaving in the lives of others.
Dr. Snipes states “I am truly honored to provide the message of Leaders to Legacy to interested organizations, churches, colleges, and university interested, to their employees, clients, and community.
