I am a 23-year-old, African American female born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I moved to Georgia in the 8th grade. I went to college and received my degree in pre-dental hygiene. I currently work as a lead dental assistant. I’ve always envisioned working for myself so one day I was researching different businesses that I felt like I would be interested in and having a professional cleaning service sounded like the best fit for me. Anyone who knows my mother knows she is a person who does not like dishes left in the sink and she does not like a dirty home. I guess my mother rubbed off on me, because I am, what my friends would call “OCD” I’m a neat freak. There is nothing better to me than coming home to a clean house or when going to working going into a clean office. I started my business with what funds I had in my bank account. I created flyers, business cards, car magnets, a website, etc. I came up with a game plan with exactly how I would get clients and I did exactly what I said I would do! I stayed focus and within the first week of passing out flyers and business cards, I received my first two clients.
Has it been a smooth road?
Sometimes I get a little discouraged, because my business is still not where I would like it to be. However, I know with dedication and patience everything will work out just fine. I’ve learned as a businesswoman and also as a worker that nothing is ever handed to you. If you want something you have to fight for what you want!

Atlanta is a city, where people come to make their dreams come true. Whether a person moves here to be an actress, a singer, a dancer, or just to retire. Atlanta is full of opportunities. However, the one thing about Atlanta that I could go without is the TRAFFIC!
