Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyhiela Gibson.
Tyhiela, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m originally from Miami, Florida. I moved around a lot due to my dad being a musician that led me to Las Vegas for high school and college. I am a Small Business owner of GOTGEMS, a Creative Director and Music Publisher of NOHOOKUPS NO HANDOUTS.GOTGEMS mission statement is “each one teach one with one Crystal at a time. I started my foundation back in 2016. The goal is for everyone to learn about crystals and their healing properties, I recently launched my first Crystal Wrapping Workshop July 2019, “Stoners Vibes with Ty,” where I teach about chakra alignment, Positive Energy, Music Frequencies, The Secret and Meditation. This gave me the opportunity to also Enlighten others of Holistic healing, Manifestation, Chakras, Metaphysical Practices and Astrology. I host Crystal Wrapping Workshops now along with I do custom orders for Crystal Healing Jewelry, Everything made from Copper. No Hook uP NO Hand OUT was established in 2012 when I began my music journey. My first experience in the entertainment Music industry is being a lead singer of a young female group called Dime piece that was a short journey while living in Las Vegas. Upon moving to Atlanta in July 2015, I transitioned into an independent artist. Learning the music business and working movie sets such as ” The Black Panther, Life Size 2, The American Soul, Bobby Brown Story, Black Lightening, The Resident, Star and had the opportunity of being a Stand In for Alyssa Goss on How High 2. Along the way, March 2018, I was able to stream my single Alchemy that was produced by Grammy Nominated Producer Kriscoldblooded on all major streaming outlets. He was also my mentor and Cohost of a PODCAST we created Feb 2018 called Helawoke discussing woke topic, discussions, Conspiracy theories, Spiritual Awakening all in 4 episodes. Last episode, we created a Manifestation Vision Board Party that was a success. Alchemy was scored in an upcoming featured film called Pulpit Gangster Directed by MATT house productions, Feb 2019 Relayshop spaces Along with three others coordinated an Event Named ” Vibes and Colors Pre Valentine Gala” where I vendored GOTGEMS and showcased my singing talent. April 2019, I received my first store placement for GOTGEMS at a tattoo shop called SLANGIN INK The Owner Is named GA. They are really cool people. I practice self-love and I am grateful for everything that has come my way by simply trusting God, manifesting, having a good heart and staying focus. I teamed up with one of my business partners Le Rouge Productions this year and I am working on a Web Series now called The Capital Crystal. I am the actress, co-scriptwriter, co-director and co-producer. The first episode is out now called Parley. You can watch it on YouTube and Instagram. My first Mixtape Sex Cells will stream on all digital platforms. I’ll be putting a single out every month so you can always hear my vibes. All my other music, you can listen to on Soundcloud. I did a couple of songs with a few independent artists.My first ft was with an Artist named Ramaj Eroc called One day at A Time. I learned you have to build your own foundation. Goddess Talk Droppin Gems Podcast will air towards the end of the year. I have been teaching about crystal properties on my IGTV for almost a year now. So it’s time to turn it up a notch. I look forward to all the new beginnings and I humbly thank Atlanta welcoming me in.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nothing in life is easy. I’m learning that the things I used to Struggle with was fear. That was the only thing stopping me from chasing my passion. Even transitioning from corporate America life to full-time entrepreneur. I had to really sit down and create a game plan that made since

My businesses are GOTGEMS and No Hook ups No handouts, I am an Independent Artist, Known as Tyhiela Gray. I am most proud of actually transiting my company into an LLC Around my Birthday time this year in May. It was a big step in my life. I’m like to say I’m from the universe. I feel like I’m a superwoman. My seven-year-old son gave me that ammo when I gave birth to him. I’m just a humble person. I don’t want to be like anyone I just want to keep getting better with self and learning this thing called life
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future is to continually expand my business, offer more exclusive discounts, and organically connect with real people. Gotgems and Nohookupsnohandouts is looking forward to engaging with the “Each one Teach one” community directly.
