Today we’d like to introduce you to Tylan Corley.
Tylan is a seven-year-old big sister of her little brother-Aaron, who is now three years old. She has always taken being a big sister role serious because she loves and cherishes her brother so much. With being a big sister, she also understands the challenges that may come with this responsibility and decided to write a book to share her personal experience with other big sisters or older siblings to add some encouragement. Tylan took less than a month to write her ideas and complete her manuscript of her book. She literally added real-life events and experiences to her book.
Once she completed the book, she looked for the perfect author who could bring her book to life! Once she saw the work of her author, she knew it was a perfect fit!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road of writing the book was smooth, but choosing the best illustrator took longer than she expected. Tylan wanted the pictures of her book to look like her family in real life as much as possible. She wanted detailed to be on point. She went through four illustrators before choosing hers.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.

She is also very proud to have a loving and supportive family who helped her make her dream become a reality and, of course, her little brother who she dedicated her book to.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?|
The quality or characteristic that is most important to Tylan’s success is staying humble and true to herself no matter how many books she sales or how many people make begin to know-how.
