Meet Tyra Brady of Upper west side, ATL

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyra Brady.

Hi Tyra, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story began nearly ten years ago when I landed my first salon job and began an invaluable mentorship that set the foundation for my career. After a year in that position, I made the decision to work for myself — an incredible, hands-on learning experience that shaped my professional journey in profound ways.

I was seeking something I didn’t yet see in the industry and wanted to take ownership of my own education. At the time, salon suites were becoming a viable option for small business ownership, and it was the perfect opportunity to explore entrepreneurship while defining my personal brand. The experience gave me the freedom to experiment, make mistakes, and grow from them — lessons that have deeply influenced who I am as a stylist today.

After making the difficult decision to close my business, I was fortunate to join Sirène Salon, where I’ve truly found my professional home. This role has proven to be the perfect fit — allowing me to thrive creatively, continue learning, and be part of a team that inspires me every day.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like any good journey, mine hasn’t been without a few bumps along the way. The toughest by far was deciding to close my salon and step away from entrepreneurship. But that choice turned out to be a turning point — it allowed me to refocus on what I love most: creating an exceptional experience for my clients. In the process, I discovered a whole new spark of creativity I didn’t know I was missing.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I trained in Los Angeles, to specialize in luxury hair extensions and natural, lived-in color. Every service reflects my dedication to craftsmanship, ensuring clients leave feeling confident!

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is travel.
