Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyrell Brown.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As a kid, I only had one dream job and that was to be an ESPN sports analyst. When I first got to college, I thought that was the perfect job after I finished playing college football. Until freshman year and the major I had to have to be an analyst changed my mind fast. I always knew inside me I wanted to be the first person in my family to own a successful business that everyone could benefit from, My last semester of college, I started setting up interviews at different companies and realized that none of the jobs met my standards. I always had a passion for business, so i thought long and hard about a service that would always be needed. I begin doing a lot of research and attending network events regularly. I came across this huge company in California website and just from reading, I was inspired and motivated. If they can have success in the cleaning business in California why can’t i here in Atlanta. That’s how Prime Time Atlanta Cleaning was created but with any business I do I always like to make sure I do way more than the bare minimum. I put in extra hours throughout the day learning new things that can help me take the next steps. There were nights where I was completely stuck (from the business paperwork/contracts) but I have learned that the best teacher is experience.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road but it wouldn’t be any fun if it was. Some of the biggest struggles for me were the contracts and bid proposal’s. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t overbidding to be competitive but wanted to make a certain amount of profit as well. Finding a nice balance and learning the competitor’s rates really helped me learn which way to go.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Prime Time Atlanta Cleaning story. Tell us more about the business.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Luck hasn’t real played any role in my business. I would say it is all from hard work and networking regularly. It’s not always what you know but who you know.
