Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyrone Martin.
So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
T.Y. began doing stand up comedy shows for a decade or so… then later after writing his first stage production in 1999, he realized that being a playwright was his true calling and that was at least 50 to 60 hit stage productions ago… along with 8 stage play awards… with my plays and awards on the way… there’s no sign of stopping.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s definitely a tough road then and now. It never gets easier… you just lear people and things as you journey into your true destiny.

My business is TY Martin and not only do I enjoy being an award-winning stage production writer, but I also direct and I teach and coach other actors that have the need and desire to be stage and film actors.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My future is to continue to bring to the stage and the world some of the greatest stories ever to be told. Whether it’s fiction or whether it’s true stories… my plan is to bring to life a vision from the stage… one performance at a time.
