Meet Vince Young

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vince Young.

Hi Vince, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Many call me by my stage name Don Kapp. Since I been taking my talent as an artist serious, and I must say. It hasn’t been an easy road. I have more miles to conquer but I come far. It all started in 2006 with a class project, we had the choices to present the project with the old fashion lecture style, show a movie that highlighted your point of view, or write a rap, and with no hesitation I chose rap of course. But little, I knew that choice was going to change my life. I had the whole class including the teacher impressed by my wordplay. Ever since, I randomly get chosen to rap during an easy class day or battle rap with others who considered the best in the school. It wasn’t until 2017 that I got my first quality sound prior before I recorded in closets, bathrooms, and backyard sheds. I have so far done eight shows. A few paid. A few free. I. Also met bigger artists such as Wacka Flocka, Lucci, and Bizzy bone. Big influencer. I couldn’t ask for a better career path choice. I currently have two kids. A mattress business and a part-time nine to five. The strive have to continue them revenues are invested in myself. Your everyday choices is what matters the most. I will be one of the biggest one day. I know it and I can’t wait to change the world with harmony.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it haven’t. It was keeping up with the styles. And facing the everyday life crisis with bills and social challenges.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Writing and I’m most proud of my kids and the positive I do and my mindset.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Growth. People change for the better or worse.
