Hi Vishal, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
We started A Tee L golf with one thing in mind – how do we connect the community through the game of golf. We are a organization that is open to all ages and genders, regardless of skill level. We are proud to have held our first annual charity scramble at the Country Club of Gwinnett on October 18th with 12 sponsors and over 100 golfers in attendance. We are underway on planning for our next Winter event!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As we are a new organization, we found it difficult to find a golf course that would give as an opportunity to host our first event. Secondly, convincing golfers to join us for a round to show them what we have to offer proved to be difficult as we had no merit behind our company yet.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are small business that aims to connect the community through the game that we love, golf. We will be hosting different events throughout the year – such as a simulator outing during winter, competitive tournaments, leagues and hosting golf events for companies. We are open to people of all backgrounds and skill levels. Truly making A Tee L golf the place where community meets golf.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Patience – understanding that our ideas and execution all take time.
