Meet Warren Edwards, II of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Warren Edwards, II.

Hi Warren, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Since a very young age, I’ve had a camera in my hand, but I never knew how far it would take me. I started photography as a side passion where I would just take my family’s photos at holidays. But after working on the 2020 “Stroll to the Polls” video (a campaign to gain more voters from Georgia sponsored by former Vice President Kamala Harris), something clicked.

I took off, and learned as much as I could, as fast as I could. And I worked, and grew my passion into a business. In 2023, I started Warren Edwards Media. In these short 2 years, I have done more than I ever thought. I have worked with companies like Nike, The NFL Foundation, The YMCA, The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation, The Johnson STEM Activity Center, The Hotchkiss School, and more.

All, just more than 2 years after making my first instagram post on @warrenedwards_media. I have been pedal to the metal, with no plans to stop. But, I wouldn’t be where I am now, I wouldn’t have worked with the people and companies I have, and I wouldn’t know what I do today without the mentors and supporters that have been with me every step of the way. So thank you to my biggest mentor Mario Eugene Paige, and my biggest supporters: my family, Tyrel Cooper, and Michael Bonner.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, the road hasn’t been smooth, but that’s part of what has made it worthwhile. Building something from the ground up means learning by trial and error: dealing with last-minute cancellations, technical issues, and long nights editing. But every setback has taught me something about patience, problem-solving, and persistence. Those challenges shaped how I work today.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a videographer and photographer, I specialize in events, corporate and educational environments. However, I work with sports and digital creators as well. The thing that sets me apart from others in my field is my ability to capture authentic emotion and energy with my art.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I’m always open to collaboration, from creative projects to brand partnerships. The best way to work with me is to have a conversation about your vision; I love to build projects together from the ground up. People can support my work by following along on my social platforms (Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn), engaging with my content, and connecting with me.
