The concept of Luv Your Yoni developed in late 2017 in efforts to combine my passion for Women’s Health and Wellness and the need to bridge the wellness gaps for the underserved female populations in the state of Georgia. Studies reveal that the state of Georgia scores near the bottom in national rankings on measures of both infant and maternal health.

With many contributing factors such as poverty, lack of accessibility and Georgia’s high rate of uninsured women of childbearing age, Luv Your Yoni exist to educate, empower and inform all women across the lifespan of the advantages of the alternate field of medicine known as Yoni Steaming. Yoni Steaming, also known as Peristeam Hydrotherapy and/or Vaginal steaming (Vsteam) is an ancient, universal practice without anyone clear origin historically practiced by women for the purpose of postpartum care and feminine wellness. Offering Yoni steam services and organic feminine health products that promotes holistic, womb wellness, Luv Your Yoni is on a mission to create pathways for women to empower and equip women with the tools to make informed decisions and equal accessibility to their reproductive, maternal and gynecological health.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not at all been a smooth road. Many women are timid, unaware and or questionable of the idea Yoni Steaming. “Is it painful?” “Does it burn?” are just a few of the frequently asked questions. Although an ancient practice, Yoni Steaming is fairly new to the United States. Challenges such as educating women on the necessity of this “new” practice and having women understand the effectiveness of the practice has been quite a challenge.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Luv Your Yoni story. Tell us more about the business.
Luv Your Yoni offers mobile Yoni Steaming consultation and services, organic feminine wellness products and apparel that supports femininity and wellness. Additionally, Luv Your Yoni sponsors a project and partnership with women’s shelters and women’s health organizations throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas to provide organic feminine health products, educational platforms and mentorship opportunities for young mothers and women of child-bearing age.

What sets us apart is the promotion of holistic health and wellness that supports the feminine health of women across the lifespan.
