I was fresh out of cosmetology school without any idea of where I wanted to begin in this field of work. All I knew is that I wanted to do hair! I didn’t know the steps to take to even jump-start business. Then I was blessed to meet my mentor. She showed me a lot. From running a business to some styling techniques.
I was a student before anything and I just studied hard on what my mentor was doing as well as older peers working in the same salon as me. I began a Las a shampoo girl. Then I graduated to being the backup stylist and then I got to where I am now! In my own suite! And that’s just the beginning!
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a smooth road for the most part. The moment I decided to step out on faith things got a little hectic. But with God and perseverance, nothing is difficult!

I specialize in natural hair care. I love to make women look even more beautiful than when I first meet them. I pride myself on making sure my client’s hair is the healthiest it can be. My company strives on making every woman hair nice and silky! And you better believe you will leave swinging your hair!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love Atlanta. It’s so eccentric! And people embrace themselves for who they are! This is definitely a take it or leave it city! And the traffics makes me cry sometimes but I can deal with it.

She is the BEST hairstylist! I moved to Florida but still fly in to get my hair done by her. Whitney is down to earth and funny and she truly deserves all of the recognition!

Whitney saved my hair from ME, not once, but twice. She always has an incredible attitude and I look forward to seeing her.
