Today we’d like to introduce you to YaKeisha Brown.
Hi YaKeisha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Looking back over the years, I’ve tried so many different areas in the business industry, but nothing stuck with me and made me just want to continue nothing other than my interest and love for fashion. I over love fashion because you can do so much and look so beautiful. I started out years ago selling only a few pieces of clothing to customers and eventually, I grew more and more into it. I love making people happy and wearing my products, it’s just a miraculous feeling.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not always been smooth for me. I’ve had times where I didn’t have the correct packaging I wanted for my customers. My branding wasn’t up to par, little things like that will cause bumps in the road if you let it, but I had to keep going I couldn’t let anything stop my dream. You know, in any business, I truly believe nothing goes smooth and that’s a great thing. I was always told, “just start the business, you can make it perfect later” because you have to have room for trial and error. If there’s struggles along the way, you learn from them and you find other ways to keep your customers happy.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Makeup Artist and also the Owner of Paris Armani which is my newest clothing brand that is soon to be released. I specialize in making women look beautiful everyday. If it’s not them getting their makeup done then there buying my products from my clothing brand. I’m most proud of the fact that I’m walking in my true passion, I’m doing what I love and it’s only going to get better and better. The thing that sets me apart from others is that I’m very relatable and authentic. No business or person is perfect. I always strive to be the best that I can be but I also show others that I’m the same as everyone else and I think that’s very important.
Any big plans?
My newest clothing brand Paris Armani is soon to be releasing and I’m very ecstatic. My clothing brand is very suitable for all women leaving them feeling and looking very glamorous. I’m the future, I would love to bring a Paris Armani store to Atlanta, Georgia but we will see what’s in store for us right now.
