Meet Yari B.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yari B.

Hi Yari, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my entrepreneurial journey when I was probably in high school selling cupcakes from my locker but I got into selling merchandise at about 18. I realized this year that I should tap more into my first love which was graphic design as I used to make graphics for my friends and thought it was just a hobby. I’ve been graphic designing on and off for over ten years and I’m currently growing and evolving in my craft.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it has not been smooth. The last few years has not only been rough for me personally, but business does have its times when you feel stuck or your business is a danger zone. My biggest struggle was my merch release/revamp because I had to change my vibe and style and also make merch that fits it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am known for being a graphic designer and creative. My business is Ari B.The Creator. I’m most proud of my continued faith I have to grow and expand my brand to be something monumental. I have my merch line called Misunderstood Collection and it has a lot of relatable messages to help you resonate.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
I’ve learned so many lessons in this journey but to pick one or sum up this question, I would say resilience is the best weapon. I have been through so much, many situations of trial and error and just pushing through many personal life things and still remained here and on too and doing my best daily.
