Meet Yaritza Nunez of Atomic Studios and Luna Roofing and Construction

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yaritza Nunez.

Hi Yaritza, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story is simple, I wanted more in life, so I started educating myself in everything business and multiple streams of income. I’m also studying to be an astrophysicist, although I started my educational career late because I became a mother first I know there’s no rules to life; you just have to do everything you can to better yourself and chase the things you want. I consider myself an entrepreneur and devoted nuclear fusion activist, I value education, I’m always striving to learn more to do more with the life I’ve been given.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Running a small business as a woman has come with a unique set of challenges that I’ve observed may not be faced by male business owners. Women-owned businesses often face difficulty in obtaining funding from investors, banks, and other financial institutions. This is due to a variety of factors, including gender bias, a lack of networks, and limited access to capital. Personally, I have faced discrimination in business settings, such as during negotiations or when seeking partnerships. This has resulted in limited opportunities at times and lost business. In a sense, there’s something to prove that I know what we are doing and are able to handle the workload of creative projects. Having a strong mindset is a must. One other struggle has been balancing being a mother and pursuing my educational career; it can get difficult to balance the demands of running a small business. I find peace within an organized, structured routine.

Despite these challenges, I’ve learned that to run a thriving small business it requires seeking support and resources, building strong networks, and leveraging their strengths, doing so you can overcome any obstacles and achieve success.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
To sum it up, I’m an entrepreneur and I have many ventures such as photography, candle making, advertising, and crypto.
