Hi Yesenia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Purchasing my first home at 21 marked the beginning of my commitment to helping others build wealth through real estate. What started as encouragement from my husband to pursue a real estate license quickly evolved into a career I never expected to love. I remember questioning it myself. Me, a real estate agent? I did not see myself as salesy or fitting the traditional mold.
I also remember sharing my plans with a former coworker who laughed and asked, “Do you know how hard it is to become a real estate agent? That test is extremely difficult.” Her words made me anxious, especially since at the time I was a full time undergraduate student at Kennesaw State University pursuing my degree in Marketing, working part time as a bank teller, and raising a child while studying for my license.
Despite the doubt, I prayed for strength and wisdom. I went all in and passed the exam on my first attempt. I give all glory to God who never left my side and carried me through every step. After obtaining my license and fully immersing myself in the industry, I discovered a deep passion for delivering a highly personalized real estate experience that reflects each client’s unique goals while ensuring they feel informed, empowered, and confident at the closing table. I still remember the gratitude of my first client when I helped her purchase her home, a moment that confirmed I was exactly where I was meant to be.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This career has been anything but a smooth road. Growing my business from the ground up without a large network, while also being the primary caregiver to my three children, has been incredibly challenging. They say it takes a village to raise children, and for the most part, my husband and I have been that village.
Being fully present for my children while simultaneously pouring into my business and learning every aspect of entrepreneurship led to many sleepless nights, moments of doubt, and periods of burnout. I began my career working entirely from home before ever having an office, often carrying my babies with me while getting work done. I will always be grateful for the clients who never questioned it, who trusted me regardless, and who believed in my business from the very beginning. Their trust was a blessing and a powerful confirmation during the earliest and most challenging seasons of my journey.
While I had clients who trusted me, early on, I was also often doubted and questioned about my capabilities. I was told the market was saturated and that it was difficult to succeed in this industry. While I am not yet where I ultimately want to be, one thing I can confidently say is that, thanks to God, I have come much farther than those negative voices ever expected.
Another major challenge I faced at the beginning of my career was transitioning from a corporate environment to becoming my own boss. Learning how to lead myself, make confident decisions independently, and create structure without the support of a traditional workplace pushed me far outside of my comfort zone and required significant personal growth.
Through it all, God has never left my side. He has given me the strength to overcome every challenge and the wisdom to serve my clients at the highest level. I am deeply grateful for the clients who placed their full trust in me and my services, allowing me to guide them toward their real estate goals. Every satisfied client is an undeniable confirmation that I am walking in purpose and exactly where I am meant to be, providing a level of service that my community often lacks.

My husband is my biggest supporter and motivator, constantly encouraging me to grow and pursue even my boldest ideas. My children inspire me to be better every day, and I cherish discovering the world alongside them. We love exploring new places, especially parks, which allow us to disconnect from the busyness of life and reconnect with the peace nature offers.
Beyond family time, I enjoy weightlifting and investing in personal and professional development through courses that help me continuously elevate my skills and perspective. Professionally, seeing my clients reach milestones they once thought were out of reach and knowing I played a part in that journey is what brings me the most fulfillment.
