I may have left the stage, but I never left the business. I never stopped writing, recording, learning or growing.
Now it’s time for me to re-enter the chat, HELLO!!!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course it hasn’t been a smooth road at all. There’s been plenty of bumps in the road from producer splits, clearances, label deals and releases. And of course, the money everything always resorts back to the money. In any journey there are ups and downs, and in this industry the challenges are twice as hard because everyone is watching. I’m grateful for those obstacles now because every trial taught me discipline, patience, and how to pay attention and learn the business not just make music. In this business if you don’t have your own back and understand the ins and outs of the business you will lose.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
You know what? I’m proud of being unproblematic, I’m known for always being happy when you see me, I possess good energy and joy, I’ve always been the homie never no unnecessary street shit or BS. That alone sets me apart from others, I just love the art, I love music, and I just happen to be pretty good at it. I don’t feed into the politics, and I pride myself on being knowledgeable in my craft and helping others if I can. I don’t try to swerve in others lane I stay in mine. I know what I know, I do what I do, my style is mine, my sound is mine and all my work is original, I’m me and I don’t try to be anyone else. When it stops being fun that’s when I’m done.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
